Workplace Com.1 - Sets 2 & 28 - Updated Weekly Schedule

Good day everyone,

Below is the updated version of our weekly schedule for this semester:


Week 6 - (17th & 19th Oct) - Class in on (17th), LC - No class (19th)
- Introduction to Resume, Cover Letter, Job Application and E-mail writing.
- Search for Job Advertisement (19th Oct).

Week 7 - (24th & 26th Oct) - No class for both sessions, it becomes unofficial LC for you.
- I'm taking a personal leave from work for the whole week from 24th till 28th October.
- You should focus on writing your resume and cover letter based on the job advertisement that you've found.

Week 8 - (31st Oct &  2nd Nov) - LC Week - No class for both sessions
- Submit resume, cover letter and job advertisement to my mailbox at PPU, the latest on 3rd November by 5 p.m.


Mid-Sem Break (5th - 13th Nov) - No class
- Look at the Case Study links and discuss with your group members on the case study meeting by going deeper into the 3 aspects that you need to know very well regarding your product/service.
- You should know how the current service is, what are the problems on the 3 aspects and how you want to improve it. Do a comprehensive research on your product/service.
- You will be using the data gathered to strengthen your case when you present your case study in a meeting.

Week 9 - (14th & 16th Nov) - Class is on (14th), LC - No class (16th)
- Introduction to grooming and practice interview questions.

Week 10 - (21st & 23rd Nov) - Job Interview Evaluation
- You'll be informed later on the details.

Week 11 - (28th & 30th Nov) - Class is on for 30th Nov, 28th Nov is a Holiday.
28th Nov -No class - Maal Hijrah Replacement Holiday
30th Nov - Case Study Preperation / Consultation

Week 12 -  (5th & 7th Dis) - Case Study Presentation
- You'll be informed later on the details.

Weeks 13 - 14 - No class at all with me.
- You can focus on your other subjects.
