Non Class Related - Literature Papers Written - A great use of old assignments I had done during graduate studies

Good day everyone,

If you still have your assignments which are of high quality that has proper citations, you might consider checking this website out as old assignments can be turned into cash: Visit site!

My papers on the site:

Grief, Reflection and Doubt in Alfred Tennyson's In Memoriam

This essay is about the poem "In Memoriam" by Alfred Tennyson. It explores the themes Grief, Reflection and Doubt as seen by the writer. It makes continual references to the poem and discusses the various techniques the poet uses in the process. It concludes that the poem is not a memorial to the poets friend, Arthur Henry Hallam but rather a mirror for readers to look at their own notions of life.

The United States and Dickens' "American Notes"

This paper explains that, in his book "American Notes", Charles Dickens writes about his traveling to America expecting the perfection of a democratic country but instead finding the U.S.A. still developing its own institutions and identity. Next, the author examines the way that Dickens describes the institutions of Boston's House of Correction and Asylum for the Blind, Philadelphia's Eastern Penitentiary and The House of Representatives at Washington. The paper concludes that this book underscores that a person cannot know about a country by just reading about it but rather must visit the foreign land.

Three Travel Writers

This paper explains that, like all travel writers, Alexander William Kinglake in "Eothen", Charles Dickens in "American Notes" and Rashid Rehman in "A Malaysian Journey"are exploring different places from the one with which they are familiar. Next, the author reveals and evaluates the topics of setting, people and language as presented by each of these writers. However, the paper questions the reliability of these descriptions because travel writers only choose to write about what they feel is important depending on their purpose for their accounting.

The notions of life and death in Ben Okri's "In Arcadia"

Opening with an overview of the novel, this paper provides a review of the themes and characters of Ben Okri's "In Arcadia". Some of the themes discussed are our notions of life and death. The writer says this is presented in the book as a discussion between the reality of our situation versus the idealism of our perceptions of the world. Another theme the writer presents is the spirituality of human nature. The paper concludes that the novel presents a case for humanity to better appreciate the life it has to offer.

Mr. Khairul

Comments on Interpersonal Sketch - Groups 2 & 28 - Workplace Com. 1

Good day everyone,

I definitely need to get a better camera to record presentations. You might need to turn up the volume on your respective computer all the way up to hear what is said.

Videos for the sketch can be viewed here. <-- VIEW VIDEOS

My comments in general for all groups are as follows:

a) Reduce nervousness when presenting by practicing more than once for your presentation.

b) Whenever you are playing a role, please make sure that you stay in character. If you're playing a humorous or serious role, please try to refrain from laughing while in your role.

c) Since you have technology and can bring real-world materials into the presentation, please make full use of it in order to make your presentation interesting and appealing.

d) Make sure that you face the audience more when presenting. This is to allow them to be able to get into the 'feel' of the situation being shown.

I know that I haven't given you much time to actually be really prepared for it. Hence, the marking for this won't be so strict. However, for the next presentation which is a meeting, since you have ample time to prepare, you should improve considerably compared to the sketch evaluation.

Viewing other presentations are always good as it helps you learn what needs to be improved in your own presentation. It also helps you acquire new ways or methods of presentation.

Regards,

Mr. Khairul

SMS/Texting Etiquette - Acad. Com. 1 & Workplace Com. 1 (All Sets)

Good day everyone,

Below is the proper way to send an sms/text message to your lecturer:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Greeting), <-- (Good day/Good Evening/Salam/Etc)

Mr. Khairul, <--- (Change the Mr./Ms. according to your respective lecturer's gender & replace the name there accordingly)

(Your Introduction) <-- I'm __________ (your name) from _____ (which set) for ______(which subject the lecturer is teaching you).

(Your Message) <-- (Preferably typed in proper language and not SMS language of short forms)

(Concluding Remark) <-- (That is all/ Please get back to me/Etc)

- Your name <-- (Your first name)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You need to do this each time you send an SMS/Text Message to your lecturer as he or she has many students and as a general rule does not keep your phone numbers in his or her mobile phone as a measure of security, personal privacy and professionalism.

It makes it difficult for the lecturer to identify who you are if you don't follow this guideline as a lecturer does not have only 30 or less students in one semester.

By following this guideline, you are showing maturity and politeness in your SMS/Text Message and it portrays you in a good manner.

Regards,

Mr. Khairul.

Acad. Com. 1 - Samples of Project Paper - Sets 3 & 37

Good day everyone,

Below are samples of the project paper (final draft of the essay) and my comments on it:

Sample 1

- Overall a balanced paper in terms of format, content and citation. Content could be improved.

Sample 2

- Content and citation are good. Format needs to be improved in terms of paragraphing and the inclusion of a cover page.

Sample 3

- Content is good. Missing page numbers and works cited page. Paragraphing could be improved.

My recommendation is to follow Sample 1 when writing your project paper later on.

The topics presented in the sample papers here cannot be used for your project paper topic.

Regards,

Mr. Khairul
