Acad. Com. 1 - Samples of Project Paper - Sets 3 & 37

Good day everyone,

Below are samples of the project paper (final draft of the essay) and my comments on it:

Sample 1

- Overall a balanced paper in terms of format, content and citation. Content could be improved.

Sample 2

- Content and citation are good. Format needs to be improved in terms of paragraphing and the inclusion of a cover page.

Sample 3

- Content is good. Missing page numbers and works cited page. Paragraphing could be improved.

My recommendation is to follow Sample 1 when writing your project paper later on.

The topics presented in the sample papers here cannot be used for your project paper topic.

Regards,

Free software that you might like on your computer

Good day everyone,

Below is a list of free software that you can download for your computer. It might come in handy later on for general purposes:

1. Adobe Acrobat Reader

- Allows you to view .pdf files which are abundant on this blog.

2. Digsby

- Multi-Instant Messaging Client which allows you to connect to most popular instant messaging services all through this software without having to install multiple messaging clients.

Drop Requirements, Class Set Changing and Dropping Etiquette

Good day everyone,

Students in the first semester CANNOT be registered or take WORKPLACE COMMUNICATION 1. If you happen to be registered in any sets for the subject, DROP the subject immediately. You can take the subject in the 2nd and 3rd year of your study.

Students from the Faculty of Education majoring in Sports, Special Education and TESL CANNOT be registered or take ACADEMIC COMMUNICATION 1. The faculty does not require you to take the course because of your major.

If you need to change to another set from the one registered (in my set/from my set) in WEEK 3 onwards, please inform me as I need to update the attendance list with the course co-coordinator.

Don't simply drop/change without telling me as it might result in a warning letter being sent to your faculty and you being barred from taking the final exam regardless of your status of being in a different set.

Regards,

Mr. Khairul

This SHOULD ONLY be your LAST RESORT from WEEK 3 ONWARDS and is subject to the COURSE CO-OORDINATOR'S APPROVAL and HE or SHE has the right to NOT OPEN additional sets.
